MP ABHISHEK BANERJEE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT AT SINGUR

Webdesk, Kolkata TNI, 18^th October, 2016: The TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee today met with a serious accident at Singur in Hooghly district. He is seriously injured in his head (back) and hands. Local sources said that the accident occurred while his vehicle was overtaking a truck in front of Himadri Chemicals. He is being transferred to Bele Vue Nursing Home of Kolkata. Reportedly his vehicle is badly damaged. Behind his vehicle was the vehicle of MLA Manas Bhuiyan. He was also injured in the accident. All of them are taken to the nursing home. CM Smt. Mamata Banerjee and Education Minister Mr. Partha Chatterjee have rushed to the nursing home.
